Changes to the plans for rebuilding Con Market released
On Monday, adjustments to the detailed master plans for the rebuilding of Da Nang’s Con Market were introduced to those families who will be affected by the project. They all live in 4 residential areas in Hai Chau District’s Hai Chau No 2 Ward.
Eight houses with façades onto Hung Vuong street will be kept unchanged. The 24,504m2 new market will be bounded by a residential area on its northern side, Hung Vuong to the south, Ong Ich Khiem street on the west, and another residential area and Chi Lang street to the east.

Tree-planted areas, internal roads and parking lots within the project will cover a total of 16,681m2, accounting for 68% of the total area of the project. The remainder will be earmarked for developing traffic infrastructure and drainage systems.
Local relevant agencies have been asked to complete boundary demarcation work for the project by late this month.
