Over 86,500 visitors stay overnight in city over public holiday period
During the recent 6-day holiday break, Da Nang attracted a large number of domestic and foreign visitors. This was attributed to the successful Da Nang International Fireworks Competition 2015 (DIFC2015) and the fascinating activities during the city’s Beach Tourism Season 2015, along with other entertainment programmes which have taken place during the holiday.
According to preliminary statistics released by the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the number of international air passengers arriving in the city during the holiday was three times higher than in the same period last year, hitting around 14,800.
