On Wednesday, Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Tran Tho made an inspection visit to the Thanh Nien (Youth) Park project, which encompasses Hai Chau District’s Hoa Cuong Nam Ward and Cam Le District’s Khue Trung Ward.

The 35ha project was officially approved by the municipal authorities in 2004. Over the past years, about 15ha of the park site have been earmarked for the implementation of other projects, including the construction of a golf course, a residential area and a national centre for circus and synthetic arts which was developed by the Viet Nam Circus Federation.

In particular, at the construction site of the national circus and synthetic arts centre, there are some circus performances taking place for several days, parking lots and areas for trading in ornamental creatures.

In the meanwhile, the 27 billion VND golf course project developed by the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism was put into use late 2014. However, business activities at the 43.100m² golf course are facing some difficulties because this type of sport has yet to be popular with local residents.

Secretary Tho said that every effort would be made to develop the park into an attractive entertainment place for local residents, especially for young people to enjoy camping and other outdoor activities.
