US continues to be top importer of Viet Nam
The US continues to be the biggest importer of Vietnamese goods in the first four months of this year, buying 9.93 billion USD worth of products, posting a yearly rise of 15.7%, according to statistics of the General Department of Customs.

The European Union followed with 9.32 billion USD, up nearly 9%, while the ASEAN came third with 6.02 billion USD, a drop of 0.5%. China’s import of Vietnamese goods dropped 3.6% to 4.82 billion USD.
Meanwhile, China remains the biggest supplier of goods to Viet Nam in the 4-month period, with 15.3 billion USD worth of goods shipped to the Southeast Asian country.
According to the General Department of Customs, in January-April, Viet Nam recorded 101.5 billion USD in import-export revenues, up11.6% against the same period last year.
The country exported nearly 49.7 billion USD worth of commodities or 6.9% year-on-year rise, while imported goods worth 51.8 billion USD, up 16.6% on a yearly basis.
