A famtrip delegation from travel and media agencies across Da Nang recently sampled a new tour which aims to discover brown-shanked douc langurs on the Son Tra Peninsula.

The Management Board of the Son Tra Peninsula and Tourism Beaches plans to launch this tour on a trial basis this summer.  The tour will help visitors understand more about the rare animals and the primeval forest on the peninsula, and encourage them to join efforts with the city to protect its ‘green lung’.

A representative from the Management Board remarked that the tours would be stopped if their operation has any negative affect on these animals on the peninsula.
