21 businesses receive over 46 billion VND in loans
According to the latest report released by the Da Nang Department of Investment and Planning, by late June 21 local businesses had been allowed to access bank loans totalling over 46 billion VND in order to develop their production and business activities.
Currently, the city’s Investment and Development Fund is submitting a local business 2 billion VND loan application to local leaders for consideration. The fund has loaned a total of over 34 billion VND to local borrowers and, since the start of this year, 47.948 billion VND has been disbursed. Of this figure, 15.036 billion VND was to businesses who submitted their loan applications last year whilst the remainder was for those applying this year.
The total of outstanding loans from the fund has been 56.283, accounting for 46.9% of its entrusted capital source of 120 billion VND.
Over recent months, the city authorities have introduced numerous effective measures to encourage local businesses to expand, become more actively involved in the chain of goods production and distribution, and create more job opportunities for local residents. They have given technology assistance, trained human resources, and launched many trade and investment promotion programmes.
