According to the Da Nang Customs Department, by late June the city’s total customs tax collection had reached over 1.05 trillion VND, a decrease of 14.4% against the same period last year and representing only 42% of the year's target as set by the Vietnamese Ministry of Finance.

As of 23 July, customs tax collection had hit a total of over 1.194 trillion VND, down 16.7% compared with the same period last year and fulfilling 47.8% of the year's target.
