The application of an e-tax payment service through commercial banks has brought benefits to local businesses, especially the large export companies, the local taxation sector, and the banks themselves.

In the past, local business people had to spend a lot of time doing their tax declarations at the end of each month.   Now, they can implement these procedures at any time, at their company instead of at the local tax offices, and their money is safely transferred via local commercial banks.  This has helped local businesses to save time and expense.

Mr Ho Vu Tien Loc from the city’s Dana-Y Steel Company says that the e-tax payment service through commercial banks is simple to use and very convenient.  He added that a circular about tax regulations recently issued by the central government has helped to simplify the administrative procedures for local businesses and reduce pressure on the local taxation sector.

To date, over 1,000 of the 14,000 businesses operating in the city have used the e-tax payment service, which shows that the introduction of this new service has proved effective in the city.

The Head of the city’s Customs Department, Mr Nguyen Tien Tho, said that the payment of corporate taxes and customs fees through local banks is an important step in speeding up administrative reform, ensuring transparency in the collection of taxes, and shortening the time for customs clearance procedures.  Thanks to the e-tax payment service, taxpayers can feel totally secure about the security of the data relating to their payment.
