The Hoang Gia Company from Binh Thuan Province recently started operating its 5-star river cruiser Harems 2 from Da Nang’s Han River Port.  This is the first boat of its kind to operate in the city.

According to the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the 10.1m-wide and 40m-long cruiser was built in Norway.  It meets 5-star European standards and can operate at a maximum speed of 25 nautical miles per hour.

The boat has 3 decks and a maximum capacity of over 200 passengers.  The 1st and 2nd decks are designated as eating and drinking areas whilst the 3rd is a venue for special functions such as gala dinners and wedding parties. 

The cruiser will offer sightseeing tours up and down the Han River giving passengers the chance to enjoy the beauty of the city’s bridges at night, and other trips are available around the Son Tra Peninsula and to Quang Nam Province’s Cu Lao Cham Islands.  Equipment for beach sports is available onboard.

The operation of the new cruiser will diversify the city’s tourism products for both domestic and foreign visitors and help them to experience unforgetable memories during their stay in this beautiful seaside city.
