The Da Nang Department of Investment and Planning is responsible for managing the data about the city’s foreign direct investment (FDI) businesses which, since April, is being transferred to the national business registration system.

In particular, the department can grant, adjust and revoke the investment licences for FDI projects in the city, as well as give suggestions to the city authorities about approving any new FDI projects.

Each FDI business now can access the national business registration system through their own account.  The aim is to help them to directly check the information about their projects, and submit their periodic online reports to local relevant agencies in accordance with the city's regulations.
