Over 290 billion VND for parks/service areas near Nguyen Van Troi Bridge

According to Da Nang’s My Khe company, the developers of parks/service areas near the Nguyen Van Troi Bridge, their project will feature 3 main construction works at a cost of over 291 billion VND. 

In detail, they are the conversion of the downgraded Nguyen Van Troi Bridge into the pedestrian-only Hanh Phuc Bridge, the construction of Hoa Binh (Peace) Park on a vacant land lot at the western end of the bridge, and the creation of Thinh Vuong (Prosperity) Park on a vacant land lot at the bridge’s eastern end.

The Hoa Binh (Peace) Park will feature a 9m-high monolithic sculpture of Heroic Martyr Nguyen Van Troi, an exhibition centre for artifacts, pictures and photos, plus an entertainment area for children, a 2-storey parking area, and other auxiliary facilities.

The Thinh Vuong (Prosperity) Park will consist of souvenir shops, a 7-storey office building, and utility areas.

Meanwhile, the Hanh Phuc Bridge will be a designated space for the entertainment of families, friends and those who are in love.

The project is awaiting approval from the municipal People's Committee before countruction work begins.

The project’s developer highlighted its role in diversifying the city’s tourism products in order to promote the development of local tourism towards 2020 and in the years ahead.
