Some of the hotels and resorts in Da Nang have reported that they have seen a significant increase in the number of independent travellers and groups of visitors attending conferences and seminars in the city compared with the same period last year.

A representative from a local travel company said that, despite a remarkable decrease in the volume of domestic visitors over recent months in comparison with the summer months, the city has seen a large number of international visitors from Asian and European countries arriving in the city for winter vacations.

Although this year’s tourism stimulus programme has seen more positive results than in previous years, local travel agents will give top priority to offering even more attractive discounts on their tours and services in order to attract more visitors to the city. 

In addition to the active involvement of local relevant agencies, the focus will be on creating closer and more effective cooperation between local accommodation providers and travel agencies.  The intention is to improve the quality of their services and create special tourism products to promote the efficiency of the local tourism stimulus programmes.
