Viet Nam Airlines, the national flag carrier, has officially used the state-of-the-art aircraft Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner for flights from Viet Nam to Germany.

Viet Nam Airlines’ office in Germany organised an event on October 26 that gave customers a chance to tour and experience the aircraft at Frankfurt am Main airport in Frankfurt city.

Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner is the latest version of the Boeing 787 genre that is able to carry more passengers on a longer distance. The advanced technology applied on board helps save 20% of the fuel required and reduces 20 percent of emissions compared to contemporary models.

On August 2, Viet Nam Airlines officially received the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, the first of its kind in the airline’s fleet of new-generation airplanes. The first flight by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner landed at Heathrow Airport in London on September 1.
