Covering an area of over 46,000m2, the new 3.6 trillion VND terminal will be able to handle between 4 and 6 million passengers per year. Developed by the city’s International Airport Investment and Exploitation Joint Stock Company, the project will play a vital role in the national transport sector’s strategies towards 2020 with a vision towards 2030.
The work is expected to be completed on 29 March 2017 to mark the 42nd anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang. Once fully operational, the new terminal will help to further boost the socio-economic development of Da Nang, and the central region and highlands as a whole.
