Ensuring sufficient supplies of goods over remaining months
Since the start of the 4th quarter of this year, the Da Nang authorities have asked local relevant agencies to ensure sufficient supplies of essential goods and stable market prices over the remaining months of this year.
According to the municipal Department of Industry and Trade, the city’s total value of retail sales of goods and services is likely to hit an estimated 72.5 trillion VND by the end of this year, up by 15.8 % compared with the same period last year.

Fourteen local businesses have so far spent around 387 billion VND on stockpiling food and consumer goods to supply local residents over the Tet Festival 2016. Of this figure, more than 76 billion VND has been used for storing food, over 308 billion VND on petrol, and over 1.7 billion VND on building materials.
Over recent months, local commercial markets have maintained stable growth and ensured sufficient supplies of goods for local residents, including vegetables, fruit, fish and meat. The prices of fresh vegetables and fruit have climbed by 10% against previous months as a consequence of the continuous rain in recent weeks, whilst the prices of other items have remained unchanged.
