Instructions issued about delayed projects
Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman Phung Tan Viet recently issued instructions aimed at dealing with the delayed large-scale projects in the city.
The developers of the Vien Dong Meridian Tower, Golden Square and Da Nang Centre projects have been told to submit detailed plans to local relevant agencies no later than 20 November about continuing, temporarily halting or extending the construction period of their projects.

The developers of some other local delayed projects are being allowed to extend the use of the land for the next 24 months but they will be required to pay additional land use fees during the extension period.
The Vien Dong Land company will be asked to submit a report to local relevant agencies about completing items in its public park and underground parking projects with facades onto Nguyen Chi Thanh, Hung Vuong, Nguyen Thai Hoc and Yen Bai streets.
South Korea’s Kreves company will have to sign a commitment, no later than 20 November, to guarantee the on-schedule implementation of its Halla Jade Residence project on the south-east side of the city’s 2 September Peace Monument.
