Souvenir businesses facing difficulties
In recent years, the Da Nang authorities have issued numerous incentive policies to encourage tourist souvenir-making establishments in the city. As a result, various souvenirs of Da Nang have appeared on the local market.
However, local residents and visitors seem to be showing little interest in buying them, perhaps because the type of souvenir is not what people want to buy and there are few reliable brands.
In addition, most of the city’s souvenir-making establishments are small-scale and spontaneous, and they are facing a severe shortage of skilled employees to ensure their effective operation and enhance their competiveness. As a result, these businesses have yet to meet the demands of the local market.

Currently, local businesses are making souvenirs to fulfil their clients’ orders, but their products lack variety and eye-catching designs. In addition, they are not paying enough attention to designing packaging for their products, and building effective strategies to advertise their goods.
In an attempt to deal with these problems, the city’s relevant agencies will find the best way to help local souvenir-making establishments operate more effectively and increase sales of their products. In addition, the souvenir makers will take the initiative to renew their product range and business activities.
