Around 1,500 international cruise ship visitors to the city
Star Cruises’ SuperStar Libra cruise ship, carrying around 1,000 passengers from China, berthed at Da Nang’s Tien Sa Port on Monday morning.
Despite the bad weather, some of the passengers were taken to the city’s local popular tourist attractions such as the Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture and the Marble Mountains. They also had the opportunity to enjoy shopping time at the Han Market and other local venues.
Previously, Azamara Club Cruises’ Azamara Quest had docked at the Tien Sa Port on Sunday, carrying about 500 passengers from the UK, France, Australia and other countries worldwide to the city. The ship had stayed overnight in the city to allow its passengers to spend time enjoying the beauty of Da Nang at night.
Both ships then left for other destinations yesterday evening.
