New Incheon-Da Nang direct flights begin
On Thursday, a Jeju Air-operated direct flight from Seoul’s Incheon Airport, carrying 176 passengers, landed at Da Nang International Airport at 0.35 am. The return flight from Da Nang departed at 1.30am the same day and landed in Incheon at 7.50am local time.
The carrier will operate 7 return Incheon-Da Nang flights per week utilising a 189-seat Boeing 737-800. Jeju Air is the 7th airline to offer air services between Da Nang and South Korea, and there are now a total 39 flights per week.
Jeju Air is a low-cost airline based in Jeju City, South Korea. It mainly offers scheduled domestic services between Jeju and the mainland of the Republic of Korea out of Jeju International Airport or Gimpo International Airport, Seoul.
According to the latest figure released by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the number of Korean tourists arriving in the city so far this year has reached 200,000, up 30% compared with the same period last year.
South Korea provides the second highest number of international visitors to the city after China.
