Over 100 stands at 'Pride in Vietnamese Goods Fair'
The ‘Pride in Vietnamese Goods Fair' is taking place at Da Nang’s 29 March Park until 29 December. Admission is free and the fair is open daily from 8.00am until 10.00pm.
The fair features 107 stands of 89 businesses from cities and provinces nationwide. During the 5-day event, the participating businesses are showcasing numerous Vietnamese products including food, drinks, fashionable clothes, textiles and garments, handicrafts, footwear, electronic items, and household appliances.
Speaking at the fair's opening ceremony on Thursday, the Chairman of the Da Nang Fatherland Front Committee, Mr Nguyen Manh Hung, highlighted the significance of the event for promoting the city’s implementation of the ‘Vietnamese People Give Priority to Using Vietnamese Goods’ campaign. He also remarked that the fair aims to help domestic businesses enhance their trade promotion activities in order to expand their production and consumer markets.
Chairman Hung noted that the event would also help to raise the public's awareness about increasing the production and consumption of high-quality Vietnamese goods.
