The Da Nang People’s Committee has recently revealed a list of 19 projects which will be offered for public-private partnership (PPP).  The implementation of these projects will be based on one of the following investment models: build-transfer (BT), build-operate-transfer (BOT), build-transfer-lease (BTL), and operate-manage (O&M).

The projects are:

 -   Hoa Khanh Industrial Park’s 500 billion VND wastewater treatment plant;
 -   the 2,385 billion VND Hoa Lien Commune water supply plant;
 -   the 54 billion VND Hoa Trung Lake water supply plant;
 -   the 4,000 billion VND Lien Chieu Port;
 -   roads and bridges over the Co Co River costing 207 billion VND;
 -   the 371 billion VND north-west traffic axis No 1;
 -   the 2,828 billion VND Software Park No 2;
 -   a 668 billion VND wholesale market for livestock and poultry;
 -   a modern hazardous-waste incineration plant;
 -   Ngu Hanh Son Cultural and Historical Park;
 -   a tourist area at the top of the Hai Van Pass;
 -   an Opera House which can accommodate between 3,000 and 5,000 people;
 -   underground cable tunnels for the communications sector;
 -   a 134 billion VND sludge treatment plant;
 -   21 billion VND development of an automatic parking fee collection system;
 -   establishing a training centre at the city’s Hi-tech Industrial Park;
 -   a 400 billion VND medical diagnosis centre;
 -   a 100 billion VND Odonto-Stomatology Hospital;
 -   and a 200 billion VND Geriatric and Endocrine Hospital.
