Star Cruises’ SuperStar Virgo cruise ship, carrying 1,900 passengers from China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, berthed at Da Nang’s Tien Sa Port on Wednesday morning.

During their one-day stay in Da Nang, some of the passengers were taken to such local popular tourist attractions as the Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture, the Linh Ung Pagoda, and the Marble Mountains.  They also enjoyed a traditional Vietnamese musical performance at the Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theatre and took a city tour by cyclo.  Other passengers were taken on tours to Quang Nam Province’s Hoi An City and My Son sanctuary.

Arranged by the Saigontourist travel agency, the ship then left Da Nang for other destinations in the evening of the same day.  This was the ship’s first visit to the city in 2016.
