20 new anchorages for tourist boats to be built soon

Following recent approval by the Da Nang People's Committee, a total of 20 new anchorages for tourist boats will be built alongside local riverside streets to allow the picking-up and dropping-off of passengers.

Four anchorages for tourist boats on the Cu De River-Truong Dinh River tour will be set up at the northern side of the Nam O Bridge, at the Ham Vang wharf near the Nam O Bridge, the western side of the expanded Golden Hills project, and the Khe Ram eco-tourism site in Hoa Bac Commune.

Five anchorages for tourist boats on the Co Co River-Cai River tour will be developed on river sections near the historical relic site K20 in Ngu Hanh Son District, the FPT Technological Urban Area, the Quan The Am (Avalokitecvara) Pagoda in the Marble Mountains Tourist Area, the Hoa Xuan Sports Complex in Cam Le District, and the resort project on the eastern side of the Vinh Dien River near the city’s administrative boundary with Quang Nam Province.

A Cam Le River-Tuy Loan River-Yen River tour will begin after the creation of 6 new anchorages.  They will be located on river sections near the Da Nang International Exhibition Fair Centre at 9 Cach Mang Thang Tam Street, Phong Le Village in Hoa Vang District, Cam Ne Village in the district’s Hoa Tien Commune, the Tuy Loan Village Communal House, the community-based eco-tourism site in Thai Lai Village, and the Para An Trach dam on the Yen River in Hoa Khuong Commune.

The remaining 5 new anchorages will be on the Son Tra Peninsula at Da Den (Black Rock) on the northern side of the peninsula, Huc Lo area on the peninsula’s southern side, Bai Tranh-Mui Nghe on the south-eastern side, the Bien Dong Resort, and the Son Tra Resort and Spa in Son Tra District's Bai Nam-Bai Con.
