Star Cruises' SuperStar Libra cruise ship berthed at Da Nang’s Tien Sa Port yesterday afternoon (the 1^st day of the 1^st lunar month), bringing the first 1,200 international cruise ship passengers of the lunar new year to the city.

Some representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and relevant agencies presented flowers and tourism publications to welcome the first international cruise ship passengers to set foot in the city.

The Department’s Deputy Director, Mr Tran Chi Cuong, said that the city is likely to receive a total of 3,300 passengers from MS Volendam, SuperStar Libra and SuperStar Virgo cruise ships during the lunar new year period, a rise of 3.1% compared with the same period last year.
