Throughout last year, the Association’s members were actively involved in creating close links with each other for mutual benefit, and they organised numerous thematic seminars and training courses to boost their production activities. They also jointly implemented numerous local welfare programmes and charitable activities at a total expenditure of around 5 billion VND.
During the year, 5 of the Association’s business members received ‘Viet Nam Gold Star 2015’ awards, one received an ‘I Love My Fatherland’ award, and 4 were named ‘Excellent Young Start-up Entrepreneurs’.
The Association admitted 25 new members during the year and received an emulation flag from the Central Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association, and a Certificate of Merit from the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
During 2016, their focus will be on enhancing the capacity of entrepreneurs and exploiting the strengths of business members. Local businesses will be helped to boost their global integration, and efforts will be made for the city’s progress.
The municipal People's Committee (PC) Vice Chairman, Mr Ho Ky Minh, praised the local private business community for their active involvement in promoting the city's socio-economic development over recent years. He pledged that the city’s authorities will create a healthy and fair business environment for local businesses, and issue even more inventive policies to help them operate effectively in the city.
