TPP expected to generate more US investment into Viet Nam
A discussion took place in Da Nang on Wednesday about the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and the investment-trade relationship between Viet Nam and the USA.
The event was jointly organised by the city’s branch of the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the US Investment Services Company.
Participants were introduced to new trends, and the possible changes to Viet Nam’s business environment due to the impact of the TPP, in order to help them develop effective business strategies for the future.
According to some international economic experts, TPP will help to attract increasing FDI inflows to Viet Nam from many countries worldwide, and especially from the USA.
Total exports from Viet Nam to the USA are likely to account for one-third of all exports from ASEAN countries to that country.
