Vietnam Airlines increases flights during national holidays

The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will launch an additional 136 one-way flights for domestic routes from April 28 to May 4 to meet increasing travel demands during the upcoming national holidays.

Accordingly, the carrier will provide some 250,000 seats on the extra flights across nine domestic routes, encompassing 49 flights on the Ha Noi-Da Nang route, 22 on the Ha Noi-Phu Quoc island route, 14 between Ha Noi-Nha Trang, 16 for Ha Noi-Hue and 22 for Ho Chi Minh City-Phu Quoc island.
The number of seats is 10 percent higher than normal and represents a 35 percent surge against the same period last year.
