The team Ant Buddy from Da Nang won many notable awards at the Da Nang Start-up Fair 2016 which took place in the city on 18 June.  The team’s project showcased cloud solutions for supporting customer services and managing customer information in medium and small-size businesses.

The winner received 1,000 USD from the event’s organisers and won a ticket to the Hatch! Fair 2016, Viet Nam’s largest start-up event which is being held in Ho Chi Minh City in October this year. 

Ant Buddy will also advance to the semi-finals of the Startup Wheel 2016 contest launched by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Federation’s Business Startup Support Centre.

In addition, it will receive financial aid from the Viet Nam-Finland Innovation Partnership Programme to participate in the Slush 2016 event in Finland in November.  Slush is Europe's leading startup event where founders and tech talent meet with top-tier international investors, executives and the media.

The Da Nang Business Incubators Centre selected Ant Buddy, and the team Cultures Connect also from Da Nang, to receive financial aid to help bring them to fruition.  Cultures Connect introduced to the organisers a network connecting visitors and locals through their involvement in exciting and meaningful cultural activities.
