Vietjet to join Da Nang international tourism fair, offer 3,000 free tickets
Budget carrier Vietjet Air will celebrate joining an upcoming international tourism fair in Da Nang by offering 3,000 from-zero-fare tickets.
The promotional fares, starting at the minimum price of US$0, are applicable to all routes connecting Da Nang with Ha Noi, Hai Phong, Ho Chi Minh City, and Can Tho, between September 6 and December 22, the carrier announced on Monday.
The airline will partake in the Beach-Leisure & M.I.C.E (Meetings-Incentives-Conferences-Exhibitions) Travel Mart Da Nang 2016 (BMTM Da Nang 2016) is an international travel fair that aims to promote the country’s tourism services and products.
The fair, held at Tien Son Sports Center from Friday to Sunday, will highlight destinations throughout Viet Nam and other countries, as well as supporting domestic tourism enterprises in expanding business partnerships with potential international markets, according to the Da Nang Portal.

Visitors to Vietjet’s fair booth will have the chance to experience virtual 3D technology games, try their luck with a spin-the-wheel game, join luck draws, and take photos with Vietjet’s crew.
Earlier this week, the low-cost airline launched a new international route from Ho Chi Minh City to the Taiwanese city of Tainan.
The new route departs every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, with flight durations lasting approximately three hours 15 minutes.
Planes leave Ho Chi Minh City at 10:45 am and land in Tainan City at 3:00 pm. Return flights depart Tainan at 4:00 pm and arrive in Ho Chi Minh City at 6:15 pm.
To celebrate the new route, Vietjet Air is offering 100,000 promotional tickets being sold at the minimum price of $0 between 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm.
The promotion, concluding on Thursday, is applicable to international routes from Viet Nam to South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Myanmar and Malaysia from August 10 to December 31, 2016, excluding national holidays, the carrier said.

Currently, the airline owns a fleet of 40 aircraft made up of A320s and A321s, and operates 300 flights each day.
It has already opened 50 routes in Viet Nam and across the region to such destinations as Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, China, Myanmar and Malaysia.
Vietjet has carried nearly 25 million passengers to date.
