Cheap flight fans in Viet Nam should stay packed as national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines is offering promotional fares on flights from Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Ha Noi to destinations throughout Asia and Europe.

The airline said on its website that the discounts are applicable to flights to South Korea, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Australia, and other countries in Europe.

Fares for round trips to Northeast Asia start from US$100 in Ho Chi Minh City and from $140 in Ha Noi.

Round-trip flights to countries in Southeast Asia start at $85 flying from Ho Chi Minh City while minimum fares for Melbourne and Sydney routes are $720 for departures from Ha Noi.

Return trip tickets to Europe are available from $850 in both Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Noi for premium economy standard class and from $2,200 for business class.

The airline is also offering special fares on the newly-launched direct service of Da Nang – Bangkok, which costs $29 for super deal tickets and $239 for business class counterparts until July 10.

Tax and additional fees have been excluded from the discounted fares, according to the carrier.
