EWEC Fair runs until 2 August
The 2016 International East-West Economic Corridor (EWEC) Trade and Tourism Fair is taking place between 28 July and 2 August at the Da Nang International Exhibition Fair Centre at 9 Cach Mang Thang Tam Street.

Jointly organsied by the Viet Nam Trade Promotion Agency and the Da Nang Trade Promotion Centre, the 6-day event features a total of 300 stands of 200 domestic and foreign businesses, along with trade promotion organisations from across the country.
Amongst the participants are foreign businesses from Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Italy. Fourteen trade promotion organisations from across Viet Nam are also participating.
Exhibits include electric & electronic products, information and communication technology, wood products, furniture, handicrafts, garments, textiles, footwear, fashion, and tourism and culinary services.
A number of activities will be organised during the event, including an arts performance, a game show and a workshop to introduce the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement.
Municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairman Nguyen Ngoc Tuan highlighted the important role of the EWEC fair in boosting friendship, cooperation and mutual understanding between countries along the EWEC. In addition, the event gives a chance for foreign localities and organisations with which Da Nang has established diplomatic ties to introduce their strengths and seek cooperation opportunities in the city.
Admission is free from 8am until 5.00pm, but tickets priced at 10,000 VND per person are required for entry after 5.00pm until 9:30pm.
