No-frills carrier Vietjet Air has offered super cheap tickets on all domestic flights, starting on Wednesday.

The airline launched a promotional event called “It’s 12pm, Let’s Vietjet,” offering one million tickets for sale at the minimum price of US$0.

The promotional tickets can be booked from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm from Wednesday to Friday, Vietjet said, adding that they are applicable to all domestic routes between August 13 and December 31, excluding national holidays.

Currently, the airline owns a fleet of 40 aircraft made up of A320s and A321s, and operates 300 flights per day.

It has already launched 53 routes in Viet Nam and across the region to destinations including Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, China, Myanmar, and Malaysia.

The carrier has served nearly 25 million passengers to date.
