There are currently over 150 point of sale terminals for Vietlott tickets in the city.
Addressing the event, municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairman Tran Van Mien said he hoped that Vietlott would operate its business in accordance with Vietnamese laws, and spend some of the revenue from its business activities on local welfare programmes and to help prevent other illegal forms of gambling.
To mark the occasion, Da Nang and Quang Nam Province received 1 billion VND each, donated by Vietlott. This money will be spent on building charity houses for social beneficiaries in the 2 localities.
