Vietnam Airlines to add nearly 900 flights during Tet Festival
Vietnam Airlines will add nearly 900 flights during the peak period of the upcoming 2017 Tet Festival (Lunar New Year 2017) from 15 January to 13 February 2017 to meet the increasing travel demand during the holiday.

The increased flights will offer 185,000 more seats, bringing the total number of seats of all domestic flights during the holidays to more than 1.6 million, up 13% against normal days and 46% against the same period in 2016.
The additional flights are on 10 domestic routes between such cities with big demand for travel as Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, along with other major tourist destinations including Nha Trang, Hue and Phu Quoc.
Of which, the Ha Noi - Ho Chi Minh City route will have the most added flights with 327, followed by the Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang route with 190 and the Ho Chi Minh City - Hue route with 136.
