Targeting to welcome 6.1 million visitors next year
Da Nang is likely to have welcomed a total of 5.50 million visitors, both domestic and international, by the end of this year, which will be an increase of 17.7% against 2015 and would exceed this year's target by 7.2%.

Of this figure, the number of international visitors is expected to have risen by 31.6% to an estimated 1.66 million, whilst that of domestic visitors is likely to have climbed by 12.5% to an estimated 3.84 million. As a result, the city’s tourism sector is expected to have earned an estimated 16 trillion VND in revenue, an increase of 24.7% against last year, and exceeding this year's target by 7.1%.
The city is now home to 572 accommodation establishments with a total of 21,197 rooms available. Of these, 40 are 4 and 5-star offering a total of 6,557 rooms, 73 are 3-star with 4,775 rooms, 449 are one and 2-star with 9,946 rooms, whilst the remainder are luxury international-standard villas and homestays.
The city is targeting to welcome a total of 6.1 million domestic and foreign visitors next year, up 10.7% against 2016. In detail, the aim is for 1.9 million international and 4.2 million domestic, up 14.1% and 9.27% respectively. If the targets are reached, the local tourism sector should earn 17.87 trillion VND in revenue, up 11.84%.
