During a visit yesterday to the Tet flower market on 2 September street, Da Nang People’s Committee (PC) Chairman Huynh Duc Tho was told of the slump in sales faced by local Tet flower traders due to the recent rainy and cold weather.  Hence, the city leader encouraged local residents and businesses to buy Tet flowers and ornamental plants at the market in order to help the traders.

In attempting to help local flower traders overcome their difficulties, approval has been given by the municipal PC Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh to give a 50% discount on the stall rental fees of flower traders at the Tet flower market and the Spring Flower Festival.

There were few visitors to the Tet flower market due to the wet weather

The beneficiaries are the individuals or groups who are selling Tet flowers and plants.
