The South Korean guests were given information about the venue’s geographical location, its functional areas, its technical infrastructure, and the preferential and support policies for domestic and foreign investors in the park.
The Head of the Park Authority, Mr Phung Tan Viet, remarked “Our focus is on perfecting the park’s infrastructure and fostering its investment promotion activities. Therefore, this is the best time for domestic and foreign investors to choose suitable sites for setting up their companies here”.
The Association’s Chairman, Mr Kim Hong-Geun, said that Da Nang boasts great advantages for attracting FDI, especially its comprehensively developing infrastructure. He pledged to appeal for more South Korean businesses to visit the city to learn about its investment opportunities.
The Association has over 500 businesses specialising in, amongst other things, electronics, small engines, auto parts, software development, medicines, and biotechnology.
South Korea is now in the lead amongst the city’s 43 foreign investors with 70 projects, worth around 723 million USD. Last year, the city welcomed 450,000 South Korean tourists, and they accounted for 27% of the total international visitor arrivals.
