Da Nang-based beverage can manufacturer, Crown company, plans to expand its capacity to 1.6 billion cans in the 4^th quarter of this year.

Representatives from the company met with the city's leaders in February, stating that the products will meet the increasing demand of local customers in Viet Nam

The plant was built on 3.6ha in Lien Chieu Industrial Park with a capacity of 730 million 2-piece 330ml cans per year in the 1^st stage in 2013, with total investment of 40 million USD. It is Crown’s 4^th beverage can plant in Viet Nam with registered investment capital of 70 million USD.

According to latest reports, to date, the capital city has attracted 423 foreign-invested projects worth 3.68 billion USD.
