With just less than 2 months to go to the start of the 2017 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF), the city’s travel agencies and hotels have been preparing more new tourism products and tours to serve their domestic and international visitors.

In particular, the city’s branch of the Ben Thanh Tourist Company has made good preparations for their hotel rooms, passenger transport vehicles, and tour guides to satisfy the expected increase in the number of visitors to the city during this international event.

In addition, many special tourism products and new tours have been developed by the company.  Some high-quality packages with accommodation in 4 and 5-star hotels have been prepared for high-income earners from both home and abroad.

Apart from the traditional tours to the city’s popular tourist attractions, the company is selling airline tickets, hotel bookings, and one-day tours to its guests.

Another example is the Art House Hotel.  The city’s large-scale events, including DIFF, are included on its website.

Ms Ngo Thi Thu Huyen, the hotel’s Business Director, said that this will be the second time that her hotel has received guests during the fireworks events.  The hotel’s rooms are currently being offered at displayed prices in accordance with the city’s regulations, and optional menu packages are available for customers in the hotel’s restaurants.  The professional skills of the hotel’s employees have been enhanced to provide the best standard of service for its guests.

DIFF will offer another good opportunity to advertise the image of the city’s tourism sector to international friends.

Mr Huynh Van Hung, Director of the municipal Department of Culture and Sports, said that local transport, health, trading and service sectors have upgraded their infrastructure in order to meet the increasing demands of visitors.  He affirmed that the urban culture and civilisation, quality of services, and the environment will be ensured to make DIFF a safe, civilised and successful event.
