Construction of the new terminal at the Da Nang International Airport began on 15 November 2015 and, since then, around 1,000 workers have been working 3 shifts a day to keep progress on track.

To date, construction work has basically been completed in readiness for a trial operation which is scheduled for 25 - 30 April. 

Construction units are now asphalting the adjacent roads, installing railings and lighting systems within the terminal, and planting trees outside.

During the first week of May, any technical breakdowns or problems which might have arisen during the trial operation will be fixed before the terminal officially opens on 25 May.
