Since its launch over 3 months ago, a contest to design and produce tourism souvenirs for Da Nang has attracted over 70 individuals and organisations, offering a total of around 150 products.

Organised by the municipal Department of Industry and Trade, the contest aims to select the most beautiful designs for souvenirs to be gifted to the participants of the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week in the city in November.  The designs must have high economic value and meet technical and aesthetic standards.

The awards ceremony is expected to be held in May.  The first prize is 50 million VND, the second prize 25 million VND and there will be 2 third prizes of 15 million VND each.  In addition, there will be 10 consolation prizes of 8 million VND each.
