In order to meet the increasing travel demand of residents and visitors during the forthcoming 4-day holiday for National Reunification Day and International Labour Day, the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines (VNA) will provide an additional 175 flights on 8 local routes.  One hundred of them are between Da Nang and Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City.

In addition, the Ha Noi Railway Transport Joint Stock Company will run an extra 31 passenger trains between 27 April and 2 May.  This figure includes 4 more trains on the Da Nang-Ha Noi route, which will add 1,900 extra tickets.

People who book tickets for trains covering a distance of 1,000km or more can save 50% on the normal ticket price.  Group bookings of between 10 and 39 passengers are given additional 6% discounts, between 40 and 69 will get 8%, between 70 and 100 10%, and for 101 and over 12%.

According to Da Nang Railway Station, tickets for the Thong Nhat trains departing from Da Nang to north central provinces and Ha Noi on 28/29 April and 2 May are nearly all sold.
