Approval has been given by the Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman Nguyen Ngoc Tuan to spend over 2.6 billion VND from the city budget to develop traffic infrastructure at the new tunnel taking Tran Phu under Le Duan, near the western end of the Han River Bridge.  The tunnel is scheduled to open this coming Sunday.

The focus will be on installing traffic lights, road signs, LED lighting systems, and surveillance cameras around the site.  There will also be an operations centre to ensure the efficient management of the tunnel.
