Vietjet Air to increase by around 300 flights during upcoming holidays
The low-cost Vietjet Air will increase the number of flights to meet the increasing travel demand of passengers during the upcoming public holidays.

Accordingly, the airline will increase by around 300 flights from 28 April to 4 May, up nearly 20% annually.
Flights to and from Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Da Lat, Buon Ma Thuot, Phu Yen, among others will be increased.
Vietjet has recently launched and increased the frequency of international routes linking Ha Noi and Seoul, Busan, Taipei and Siem Riep, Hai Phong and Seoul, Ho Chi Minh City and Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company recorded positive results for the 1st quarter of this year with its aviation transport revenue standing at 5,095 billion VND (224.2 million USD), up 44.2% year on year.
The low-cost airline said on 22 April that the revenue exceeded this year's target by 10.6%, while revenue proportion for international routes rose sharply.
Meanwhile, profit rose 6.8% against the same period last year.
Profit before tax stood at 432.64 billion VND and profit after tax at 381.65 billion VND.
The airline carried 3.7 million passengers, an increase of 29.4% compared with the same period last year.
In the 1st quarter of 2017, Vietjet launched 3 more international routes, increasing its air routes to 63, with high load factor of 88%, OTP of 87.7%, an increase of 4.1% against the same period in 2016.
The airline is targeting to earn 42 trillion VND (about 1.8 billion USD) in revenue by the end of this year, with pre-tax profit of over 3.6 trillion VND (158.4 million USD) with 50% of dividend.
