On Friday, a total of over 400 representatives from businesses operating in Da Nang and local business associations attended the 2017 Business Dialogue at the city’s Administrative Centre.

The event focused on some major issues, including analysing the city's Provincial Competitiveness Index in 2016, answering questions raised by local business people and collecting their constructive opinions about furthering the city’s progress.

Furthermore, the event offered a good opportunity for the city authorities to listen to and sort out any difficulties which businesses are facing, thereby helping them promote their trade and production activities.

In order to ensure the success of the event, local businesses had been encouraged to send their opinions to the email address at doithoai@danang.gov.vn.  Their opinions were collected and answered in writing by the municipal Department of Planning and Investment.  In addition, others beyond the department's capacity to solve, were then sent to local relevant agencies for handling.

The majority of the collected recommendations were about business premises, tax and technological innovation policies, the operation of local support industries, the degraded infrastructure in local industrial parks, and other related matters.
