In addition to cultural heritage tours such as ‘Da Thanh Tu Tran’ (Da Nang and 4 Famous Attractions), ‘Hanh Trinh Di San Mien Trung’ (Heritage Discovery Tours in the Central Region), and ‘Thien Duong Mien Trung’ (Paradise in the Central Region), various other tours have been developed to help visitors discover the special beauty of Da Nang.

Late in 2016, the Management Board of the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourism Beaches began the Son Tra Sunset Tour on a trial basis.  This tour is now available for visitors between 6.00pm and 9.00pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Visitors are offered a breathtaking sunset panorama and a bird’s eye view over the Son Tra Peninsula and a corner of the city from 500m above sea level, a BBQ party, and amazing musical performances.  They are taken on a jeep tour around the peninsula, and a city tour either by jeep or coach.  For further information about this tour, please visit the headquarters of the Management Board at 133 Ho Nghinh in Son Tra District or call 0236 3920477.

Recently, the Hai Van Cat International Travel Company (Hava Travel) and the city’s Kayak Club have jointly developed kayaking tours on the Han River called ‘Mot Thoang Song Han’ (A Glimpse of the Han River) for lovers of this sport.

In addition to taking a route across the Han River, from a section of Chuong Duong in Ngu Hanh Son District, to enjoy the beauty of the local bridges, the kayakers have the opportunity to take part in teambuilding activities at a shoal in the mid-water section of the river.  After that, they continue paddling their kayaks to a point near the Asia Park to take photos, and then they return .

Mr Nguyen Nhat Khanh from the city’s Kayak Club said that the tour aims to create an ideal opportunity for lovers of kayaking.  It is also a good opportunity for those who are participating for the first time to conquer a new kind of sport.

The Head of the Sales Office of Hava Travel, Mr Nguyen Ngoc Thien, noted that the ‘Mot Thoang Song Han’ tour is now available for locals and visitors at 200,000 VND per person.  He added that from now until August, his company plans to open rowing tours on the beach at weekends in order to diversify the beach sports tourism activities in the city.
