The 47^th ASEAN Banking Council Meeting, organised by the Viet Nam Banks' Association (VNBA), is scheduled to take place at the Furama Resort Danang from 23-24 November.

This major annual event of the regional banking community will be attened by representatives from banking associations of the ASEAN countries, namely Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam.

This is the third time the VNBA has held such a meeting, with the first one in 2000 and the second in 2007.

The meeting will feature discussions about such topics as sustainable financial development, financial inclusion, application of state-of-the-art technologies and human resource training, as well as propose cooperation initiatives and action plans.

It is an excellent opportunity for the participants and partners to share their experiences and strengthen cooperation amongst them.
