The airline now operates the routes with 3 flights each week: on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, utilising Boeing B737-800M aircraft, according to the Da Nang Tourism Department.
The direct flights aim to boost tourism, trading and investment links between China and Da Nang.
Two-thirds of the 24 direct international flights that are operating in Da Nang, are now from China.
According to the latest report from the Department, Da Nang has welcomed a total of 5.1 million tourists since the start of this year, 1.76 million of whom were foreigners.
Between January and June, over 280,000 Chinese tourists in total visited the city, the majority of whom were from Hangzhou, Chengdu, Shanghai, Beijing, Kunming, Shenyang and Dalian.
China now ranks first in terms of the number of foreign visitors to Da Nang, with 443,000 visiting the city last year, accounting for 22% of the city’s total foreign tourists.
