Ms Le Thi Nam Phuong, the Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the SKY-LINE High-quality Educational System, highlighted the significance of the APEC Week in offering a great opportunity for local businesspeople to meet with the leaders of the APEC member economies, and CEOs from the world’s leading groups.

On 7 November, representatives from the SKY-LINE High-quality Educational System had the honour to welcome Mr Edward Vaizey, British Prime Minister's Trade Envoy to Viet Nam, and Mr Giles Lever, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Viet Nam during their stay in the city for the APEC Week.

Previously, in October, SKY-LINE entered an agreement with Pearson, the UK’s largest awarding body and it regulated by Ofqual (England), SQA Accreditation (Scotland), CCEA Accreditation (Northern Ireland) and Qualifications Wales (Wales).

Pearson offers academic and vocational qualifications that are globally recognised and benchmarked, with educational excellence rooted in names like Edexcel, BTEC, EDI and LCCI.

Under agreement, SKY-LINE became a strategic partner of the world’s leading learning company to apply Edexcel, Pearson’s leading qualification brand.

Edexcel’s world-class academic and general qualifications include GCSEs, A levels and International GCSEs, as well as some vocational qualifications, including NVQs and Functional Skills.

SKY-LINE is the only Edexcel testing centre in the Central Viet Nam and Highlands.

The Director of the Ha Giang-Phuoc Tuong Mechanical Engineering Company, Mr Ha Duc Hung, said that it was a great honour for him to attend the Viet Nam Business Summit, one of the APEC Week’s most important events.

Mr Hung was very excited to learn more valuable experiences from representatives of big businesses from both home and abroad.

Mr Nguyen Hong Son, the Director of the city-headquartered Hong Son Star Auto company, the central region distributor of TCH, said he was very happy about the cooperative ties between TCH and its US partner.

Thanks to this positive result, Hong Son Star Auto will have more opportunities to do business activities with healthy competition, and especially, US-standard trucks and tractor-trailers which Mr Son’s company will distribute are expected to affirm their position in its comsumer market.
