New traffic arrangement helps to reduce congresstion at Han Bridge

New traffic arrangement at the western end of Da Nang’s Han River Bridge, which bans all road users from making direct left-turns from Tran Phu into the bridge between 6.40am and 7.40am, and between 5.00pm and 6.00pm daily, has taken effect from Monday.

Yesterday, traffic congestion was reduced significantly during rush hours at this area .  The positive results were mainly attributed by great efforts by traffic police officers and inspectors, along with Youth Union members from the municipal Department of Transport.  They were on duty there to remind those violating the new regulations.
